Been a while since the last update - Busy!

I've been slacking on this blogger. I'm going to treat this like a project at work to get you updated on my month of August:

Status:

Adventure Racing: - Training race coming up in Rancho Penasquitos on 9/22. I've only been riding about 1.5 times a week and running 0. I'm going to suck, at least it's getting cooler

Surfing: Lots. Labor day weekend. 2-4 foot days at Huntington. Two weekends before that, San-O trails. Old Man's the week before that with a new group called "meetups". A lot of beginners there, but I don't mind sharing my experiences while breaking up the monotony of surfing alone. I had to do a lot of dodging during the holiday, and saw an a-hole or two in the water, but it was all good and my arms are fried.

Work: Too Stressful. Too much to do in too little time. My next job? "Paper or Plastic".

Arcade/Pinball Restoration: Finished up this Funhouse pin. Rudy rocks. Upgraded the Robotron to a multi-williams game that includes defender, stargate, joust, bubbles and splat. Still have to put a capacitor kit in the monitor. The garage is still a damn mess. It's been too hot the last couple of weeks to really do much in the garage.

Family: Kaleo started the first grade. Damn, he's growing up fast. This weekend is the Clarice's birthday, date night Saturday.

September outlook? Cooler temps means more comfortable workouts. The days are getting shorter so it's almost time to bust out the night riding/running lights.
