Busy two weeks.

Work has gotten real busy the last couple weeks, new year new projects more business. I haven't had a chance to work our really because of all the rain. Did buy some Disneyland passes and spent the last couple of weekends there with the family. Good to get out of the house and let the kid wear himself out.

Training notes, NONE, two weeks of nothing and I feel like crap. Basketball has been okay though, but it's only once a week. I gotta get back on the bike this weekend.

Arcade notes: LOTS - Went to Superauctions to check out video game and pinball stuff. Not a whole lot of interest in the video games there. There was a sinistar there, and it went cheap, but it was early in the auction and I was interested in other things there. The pinballs went pretty high, add 20% commission and taxes, and the prices are even higher. Pretty much wasted half a day and came home with nothing (which is good - money not spent is money saved).

I picked up a Jurassic Park: Lost World pin this week on ebay and must say that sega makes so/so pins. The quality of the mechanics feels solid, but the artwork is not so great. I'll keep it around, add a few dinosaur toys onto it and maybe it'll look and play a bit better when I'm done tuning it. Should be good for my nephews and kids. The shaker motor effect is quite good though.

More pinball notes, cleaned up the judge dredd and worked on some opto issue in the ball trough. Finally, no test errors on it and it seems to play pretty good. Fish Tales was also worked on doing some drop target fixing, plastic protectors and some other things. Right now seems like a lot of little maintenance type things on all the pins.

That's about it for now. I must really get on my bike.
